  • Overnight in Cañon City
  • Time permitting, check out Entertainment in Veteran's Park (7-9pm on Tuesday)
DAY TWO

  • Breakfast
8:00 am - 9:30 am
  • Travel via Highway 9, High Park Road and Teller One to the Cripple Creek/Victor district
9:30 am Visit the Museums of Cripple Creek
  • Cripple Creek District Museum (5 historic buildings packed full of District History, (719) 689-9540
  • Old Homestead House Museum 1896 furnished brothel full of stories, (719) 689-9090
  • Outlaw & Lawmen Jail Museum Old Teller County Jail 1901-1992, (719) 689-6556
12:00 pm
  • Lunch in Cripple Creek
1:00 pm Travel the 7 miles over to Victor, Colorado where you can enjoy:
  • Lowell Thomas Museum (719) 689-5509
  • Ag and Mining History Museum
  • Walking tour in Historic Victor
3:30 pm
  • Return to Cripple Creek and Ride the Cripple Creek/Victor Narrow Gauge Railroad
  • Then chose to either return to Cañon City or overnight in Cripple Creek
